Admissions Consultation 2020-2021
Consultation Notice on proposed change of Admission Arrangements 2020 - 2021
Jubilee Primary School is formally consulting with parents, the Local Authority and other interested parties on the proposed changes to its School Admission Arrangements for entry to the school in September 2020. This is in line with the Department for Education’s School Admissions Code.
The following additions are being proposed:
Children previously in care outside of England
Children who appear to the school as the admissions authority to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted. A child is regarded as having been in state care in a place outside of England if they were accommodated by a public authority, a religious organisation or any other provider of care whose sole purpose is to benefit society.
Child of staff at the school
The child of a member of staff who has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made, or who has been recruited to fill a vacant post at the school for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage. For this criterion, a child is one who lives in the same house as the member of staff, including a natural child, an adopted child, step child or foster child. Children residing in the same households as part of an extended family, such as cousins, will not be eligible under this criterion.
The formal consultation will be open for 6 weeks between 10th December 2018 and 31st January 2019. Paper copies are available from the school upon request.
If you would like to comment on the consultation, please email: email@example.com with the subject line marked ‘Feedback to Jubilee Primary School Admissions Consultation.’ Responses should be received by 31st January 2019. Alternatively, you could write to our School Business Manager at the following address:

Following the consultation period all submitted comments will be considered at a Governors meeting and the final arrangements will be published on the school website after the end of February 2018.
