The Governing Body’s core functions are to ensure high standards of achievement for all children by:

• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;

• Holding the Head Teacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff;

• Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.

 

Full governing body meetings are held at least three times per year and more often when needed.

 

The Governing Body consists of both elected and appointed governors.
