  On Friday 22nd November, Chinese Pandas sent a football team to take part in a tournament at Greenfields School in Maidstone.

  Jubilee’s first few matches  were quite challenging – and we struggled to compete against teams that seemed much better than ours.  However, our team REFUSED to give up and, in our final match, we were ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! 

  We finished in 4th place overall, with all our players giving 100% effort.

  We are now looking forward to our next football tournament!

  

• Basketball

  Earlier in November, a team of Chinese Pandas headed to Maplesden Noakes school for a basketball tournament.  For many of the players, it was their first time playing a match on a proper basketball court or bouncing a real basketball – so there was a lot of excitement. 

  The first few matches were quite challenging for our team and although they played with a lot of heart, the other teams managed to score more baskets.  Despite those early set-backs, our team battled on courageously – and it wasn’t long before we started to score some points and... with great perseverance...we won a game!

  The team played with a lot of passion and pride throughout – and are now looking forward to their next challenge on the basketball court.
