It is vital that children build up their writing stamina and have an opportunity to write for a length of time.  At Jubilee Primary School we provide a whole morning every week for each child to immerse themselves in a BIG write on the topic that they have been exploring.   The classroom is quiet with instrumental music playing, children are focussed and teachers are there to support and encourage. This takes place across the entire school including our Early Years Foundation Stage.  The older children self and peer mark this writing and get detailed feedback from the teacher. This also gives them a great opportunity to practise their spelling, punctuation and grammar.
