On Friday 21^st September, African Elephants experienced an Anglo Saxon and Viking immersive morning. We learned about the art of sword fighting and how the Anglo Saxons and Vikings formed their warriors into an army. We then looked at how the Anglo Saxons and Vikings spent their time and we tried our hand at making butter, flour [from grinding seed], making sparks by rubbing flints together and playing board games. It was an amazing experience and really brought our topic to life.
